The difficult stretch, Victoria Strait, Nunavut Canada

This was possibly the hardest part of our Northwest Passage. Victoria Strait is usually considered the "bottleneck" when it comes to the sea ice, and also this time we had to first wait for over a week to make an attempt. Together with our friends on Libertaire we then sailed in snowfall and partial darkness through vast amounts of ice.

This print is made out of aluminum, just like s/v Lumi's hull. And just like Lumi, it looks amazing and is made to last! Printed on a rigid aluminum panel, does not require framing, comes ready to hang on your wall.

• Direct printed onto the aluminum surface. Extremely durable and smudges can be easily wiped off without damaging the print.
• The rigid panel is crafted from two aluminum layers with a black polyethylene core in between.
• The print itself is matte, giving it a timeless look. It is also glare-free, as there is no glass/plastic cover (unlike in traditional framed prints). You don't have to worry about light reflecting off the surface!
• Easy to set up on your wall. Includes a complete hanging kit with screws. Strong double-sided tape (not included) also works very well for hanging if you don't wish to use screws.
• Printed and shipped from either USA, Europe or Australia, ensuring minimum carbon emissions for shipping. On-demand printing also means no prints ever go to waste.
